Luca Sellitto
Luca Sellito is an Italian guitarist, songwriter and educator. He started playing classical guitar a few weeks before his eleventh birthday, but switched to electric guitar after only one year, because of his early interest in rock music.
At the age of 17 he started his own band STAMINA, a melodic metal outfit, combining various influences ranging from neoclassical power metal, to progressive metal, hard-rock and fusion.
In December 2019 Luca’s fiest solo album, entitled “The Voice Within,” was released worldwide by German label Pride & Joy Music.
In 2020 & 2021 Luca worked as a studio session guitarist and co-songwriter for British singer, Ian Parry, giving his contribution to five songs on the album “Ian Parry’s Rock Emporium- Brute Force,” and beside some additional collaborations with local bands, he was hired by the band “Die for my Sins'",” featuring Ralf Scheepers (ex Gamma Ray) on vocals, to play lead guitar on their debut album.
Luca recorded all electric and acoustic guitars for the new upcoming debut album, Alice and the Wonderland, by American pop/rock duo In Search Of.
Other collaborations during the years include: Nils Molin (vocalist from Amaranthe and Dynazty); Kenny Lubcke (Danish rock ringer); Andrea Barone (pop songwriter); Nicola Vicidomini (swing artist); Lugia Paglia (Italian pop singer) and other guest appearances on various projects.
Luca is also a very dedicated guitar teacher, teaching full time both in person and online.
